Is it bad to use a can of chewing tobacco thats dried up?

i opened a can of copenhagen long cut 12 days ago. it looks like its dried up and doesnt have much smell any more. is it safe to still use it? its been stored at room temperature the whole time. if i can still use it, then how much longer will it be good for without expiring and going bad?
