Learning Piano after learning guitar. Is there an advantage?

I have played guitar for 10 plus years, can read music, and took a music theory class in highschool, I am thinking about taking up piano, but is my prior music experience that big of a boost, or am i pretty much in the same position as everyone else as a beginner at piano?
