Why Did Chelsea Sign Fernando Torres?

When you sign players you have to make sure the chemistry is alright, now look at Torres here, he always scored against Chelsea, now he is known to be dis-loyal (he hustled the liverpool fans big time), and for 50 million pounds??? you could have signed bale and darren bent for that...now I'm not mad because Abromavich decided to splash the cash, but why did he sign Torres?? Who is in charge of transfers at Chelsea??? I would do a so much better job...
